MFX: MFXtra: The Scottish Announce Table – Ep 6.

We’ve got a monster of a show for you this week folks. Sit back and strap in as the lads talk all kinds of fun pro wrestling subjects. There’s more chat around recent talent lay-offs, Vince McMahon and his shady business moves with the XFL. The lads discuss the new WWE and AEW TV taping schedule and still can’t fully get behind the decision to continue to run these shows.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Velveteen Dream and Nia Jax. One of them is accused of sending some naughty pictures to an under-age boy, the other nearly killed a co-worker, again. So the lads have plenty to say on those subjects.

The lads talk the weirdest thing to happen in WWE for a few weeks – Vince McMahon’s appearance during the tribute to HHH’s 25 years with the company. Plus they cover two episodes of The Dark Side of the Ring Series – The Brawl for All and Jimmy Snuka episodes. One of these shows was not as fun to watch as the other.

The show is wrapped up with the random retro PPV review. This week it’s WCW’s Slamboree 1993. What a weird show this was. Half tribute to old timer wrestlers, half typical early 90s WCW rubbish. The said, the lads had a fun time watching this show, thanks to Dick Murdoch and Thunderbolt Patterson!

Plus they marvel at how fake Eric Bischoff is, how all the old timers want a piece of Missy Hyatt, plus they love them some weird promos and Stu Hart trying to remember who his daughters are married to. This show also has the most underwhelming and disappointing announcements of all time as Paul Roma joins the Four Horsemen. Yeah, we don’t get it either. Plus some fun matches and some terrible finishes to review. A damn fun time was had reviewing this show, hope you guys have as much fun listening.

Duckman and George ‘The Animal’ Peel are here to bring a little fun into your life. This is another damn fun show, with plenty of laughs and insight to get you through another long day on lockdown. As always thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.
